Bspoked Enterprises is Neath Port Talbot Council's employment and training service for adults with disabilities. Based in Neath, South Wales the service supports people to build confidence, develop employment skills and become more independent through creating handcrafted products.
Everyone who attends the service is encouraged to learn about the whole of process of how a product gets to market, including the designing, developing and selling of the products. This gives everyone who attends the service the opportunity to diversify their skill set so they are ready to move on, if appropriate, to employment or volunteering placements.
All of the products produced at Bspoked Enterprises have been handmade using donated materials such as glass bottles, clothing fabrics, wooden pallets and bicycle parts. The materials are then upcycled into household and garden products such as clocks, ornaments, photo frames, jewellery, wall displays and lots more.
Bspoked Enterprises prides itself on its mission statement: promoting ability not disability.
